Ranbir Kapoor, who is soon going to embrace fatherhood shared an extremely close bond with his late father, actor Rishi Kapoor. On several occasions, the Shamshera actor has opened up about his parents and the values that they have imbibed in him. Kapoor is currently gearing up for the release of his movie Shamshera. And he is busy promoting it in full swing.
In an exclusive chat with us, Ranbir Kapoor spoke about fatherhood and if he would be a similar father to Rishi Kapoor. The Shamshera actor said that he would pass on a lot of value systems that he has imbibed from his parents to his child.
When asked if he would be any different from how Rishi Kapoor was with him, Ranbir told Bollywood Bubble, “I’ve imbibed a lot of value systems that I have taken from my parents and pass it on. And of course, you have to evolve. You’re living in a different time right now. You have your own sensibilities your own moral values, you know your own upbringing. But, it’s not something that is written in stone you know, it’s day to day.”

The Shamshera actor added, “I speak to fathers like Karan (Karan Malhotra) who I know and I and see it that he’s a great father. He’s somebody who’s so connected with his child. So, it takes a lot of sacrifice you know.”
Kapoor continued, “The sacrifice that you take um that you make to actually be there for another human being is something which I’m looking forward to. And I really hope and pray that I can succeed in that role in my life.”

Meanwhile, Ranbir is all set to welcome his first child, with his wife, actor Alia Bhatt. The couple announced their pregnancy, just months after their wedding in April.
