After creating a storm in Hollywood, #MeToo movement has also shaken the entire Bollywood industry. Every single day, A-listed celebrities are getting accused of harassment. Steps have been taken from many official bodies so that such cases don’t happen in the near future. Alok Nath, Vikas Bahl and Nana Patekar were sent show-cause notices by the Federation of Western Cine India Employees (FWCIE). Vikas Bahl was dropped from his upcoming movie ’83’ and he is probably not getting credited for ‘Super 30’. Also filmmaker Sajid Khan, who was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women, has been ousted by the makers of ‘Housefull 4’.

Talking about the ongoing movement, she said, “I am against fear psychosis for anybody whether it is for a woman or for a man who is talking to a girl and getting scared that should I be talking like this. We want to have to have a happy positive environment, so that is most important. The only thing I fear are the quick judgments and the quick punishments that are meted out through trial by Twitter which is happening in hours. Even in Hollywood, they take their time, they do their research, they do an investigation. They interview friends and family, whether it is 20 years ago or 10 years go – they investigate. So that is a bit scary for everybody.”
