The second wave of Covid-19 has taken a devastating turn as reports of half-burnt dead bodies washing up on the banks of the Ganga river has begun to make the rounds. According to a report by NDTV, these dead bodies are suspected to be Covid victims. This has left the nation shocked and many Bollywood celebrities have asked for accountability for these failures.

Farhan took to his Twitter account and wrote, “The news of scores of bodies being discovered floating in rivers and washed up on its banks is absolutely heartbreaking. The virus will be defeated someday but there has to be accountability for these failures in the system. Until then, the pandemic chapter is not closed!”
