Rakhi Sawant, who has been known to use the name Rakhi Fatima, recently visited the holy shrine in Mecca to pray for those affected by the devastating floods in Nepal. However, her visit turned chaotic as she found herself surrounded by a large, unruly crowd. Scroll down to read the full story.
Rakhi Sawant Looks Scared As She Gets Mobbed By Pilgrims
In a video shared on Instagram, Rakhi was seen distributing Janamaz (prayer mats) among pilgrims. What started as a compassionate gesture quickly escalated into a distressing situation. As Rakhi continued to hand out the prayer mats, several people approached her to collect them, and the crowd began to push towards her.
Rakhi could be heard chanting “Allah Hu Akbar” as she tried to maintain peace while distributing the mats. Despite her efforts, the crowd kept moving closer, and the situation spiralled out of control. At one point, some individuals were seen pulling her hijab. “Please don’t fight,” Rakhi pleaded as she struggled to make her way through the crowd.
During her visit, Rakhi also offered prayers for the victims of the floods in Nepal. In a video near the Holy Kaaba, she said, “Main dua karti hoon, Allah, Nepal mein jo baadh aayi hai, jo toofan aaya hai, woh ruk jaye. Wahan ke bachche, boodhe aur jaanwar sab bachaye jayein. Jo Indians aur Nepalis phase hain, woh sab sahi-salamat rahein, Allah.” (I pray to Allah that the floods and storms in Nepal come to an end. May the children, elderly, and animals there be rescued. May all the Indians and Nepalis stranded there remain safe.)
On the professional front, Rakhi is set to return to Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent Season 2. She is expected to appear as a panellist in the upcoming episode.
