After watching the trailer immediately stories of Arshad Warsi’s blink-and-miss appearance started doing the rounds as in the trailer we get to see Arshad Warsi in one of the shots from Sanjay’s ‘Munnabhai MBBS ‘ film. However, it’s not Arshad making an appearance in the trailer actually that scene was morphed using Digital Intermediate (DI) technique. In this technique, Ranbir Kapoor’s image was morphed on Sanjay Dutt from the actual footage of the title track of ‘Munnabhai M.B.B.S’.

We compared the following screen grabs from ‘Sanju’ and ‘M Bole To’ song from ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ and it’s clearly evident that DI technique was used to recreate the scene.

Arshad Warsi has worked with Sanjay Dutt in two of his career-defining films namely ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ and ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’ so naturally he will be a part of his biopic too. However, in the trailer, it was not the actor making an actual appearance but a file footage used from ‘Munnabhai MBBS’.

Previously in Bollywood, the same technique was used in cricketer MS Dhoni’s biopic where Sushant Singh Rajput’s face was morphed on Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s face where scenes from his World Cup match were used in the film.

Stay tuned for more such interesting updates.
