Was Preity Zinta’s name change inspired by Sonam Kapoor?

Sonam Kapoor has set a new trend in Bollywood. The fashionista who recently tied the knot with beau Anand Ahuja had changed her name to Sonam K Ahuja on social media. Now, actress Preity Zinta is following the same trend and has added a ‘G’ to her name.

The actress shared the news with her fans on social media writing, “After marriage I decided to take the G from my husbands name. One G is Goodenough for me Ting”. You can check her tweet below:

For those who don’t know, G stands for her husband, Gene Goodenough. Preity tied the knot with Gene in a private ceremony two years back, on 28 February, 2016. A Hindu wedding ceremony was held in Los Angeles.
