Late Wednesday night, the actor siblings and Rachit arrived at Jantar Mantar in the national capital and marched with the students to show solidarity. The protests, led by the Cockroach Janta Party, have seen thousands of students demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in the education system.

On Thursday morning, vlogger Syed Umair Ali shared a video capturing Huma and Saqib walking with the protesters at Jantar Mantar. The video, shot at 2:13 AM, showed Huma in a black top and jeans, smiling and walking alongside the protesters.

Rachit was dressed casually in a white shirt. He was seen walking beside her, taking her hand. Saqib was seen walking alongside them. Rachit and Huma recently collaborated on the film Baby Do Die Do, produced by Huma and Saqib under their banner.

What Happened At Jantar Mantar?

The protests at Jantar Mantar, spearheaded by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), have intensified over the past few weeks. It comes after educator and environmentalist Sonam Wangchuk began an indefinite hunger strike, which has now entered its 25th day. On Monday, students from different parts of the country gathered in New Delhi. They marched towards Parliament as the Monsoon Session commenced. The Delhi Police stopped the march. This led to clashes, sparking widespread criticism and debate on social media.

The protesters have been demanding a dialogue with the Central government. They are seeking the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak and other alleged irregularities in the examination process. 2 more demands follow.
