Winning a National Award is a huge deal and knowing that all the hard work is finally paying off, is an even happier feeling. Who wouldn’t be on cloud nine after receiving an honour this huge. So is Remo D’Souza.

The choreographer who won his first ever National Award for his amazing choreography in Bajirao Mastani today, is glad and contended at the same time. Speaking to BollywoodBubble, the ecstatic choreographer turned director said, “it is the biggest honour for a film-maker actually. I am thrilled and very happy to achieve this Award. I am on cloud nine right now. So honestly there are mixed reactions going on.”

Asked if her was expecting it, to which he quipped, “I was expecting an award for all these years and have prayed to at least get nominated. But this year I have really worked very hard and I was nominated for two films ‘ABCD 2’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and I was hoping to win for any one of them.”

Congratulations to Remo on this big win. A well-deserved one indeed.
