He was questioned, if he could have done better with his first film. To which he said speaking to GQ India the he had completed 3 films by the age of 24. He looks back at his performances and reflects on where he could have worked better or harder.
He said, “A lot of people tell me, ‘Don’t stress. It’s only your first film.” That’s not okay for me. I wanted my first film to be great. I wanted to be great in my first film. But I’ll learn, I have to learn.”

Nadaaniyan was the directorial debut of Shauna Gautam. The film starred Khushi Kapoor, Jugal Hansraj, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Mahima Chaudhary in important roles. The movie centers on Arjun and Pia, two young college students who pretend to be together in order to strengthen the latter’s friendship with her peers.
