IIFA Awards 2022: Salman Khan upset with Riteish Deshmukh. Here’s why

IIFA Awards 2022 is here and a host of Bollywood celebrities have already reached Abu Dhabi for the year happening event. Yesterday, Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Shahid Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday and many more were seen at Mumbai airport leaving for the awards. Now a video is viral on the internet where Salman Khan is seen getting upset with Riteish Deshmukh and it had something to do with Maniesh Paul.

In a video viral on social media, Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Manish Paul were seen attending a press meeting. Maniesh is heard saying, that he is ‘looking forward to hosting duties, noting that it’s extra fun when ‘bhaijaan’ Salman Khan is there. To which Riteish Deshmukh is heard saying, ” Maniesh, I just want to say, you are the best thing that happened to hosting.”

Reacting to Riteish’s comment Salman makes a quip that is not audible but leaves everyone in splits. Riteish then pulled Salman’s leg and added, “Repeat…Maniesh, I have to tell you, you are the best thing that happened to hosting ever.” Salman, pointed at himself and looked shocked as Riteish praised Maniesh as the best host. Riteish then walked up to Salman and apologised, while the latter noted that he himself had forgotten that he also hosts sometimes. The fun banter between the good friends was much loved by fans.

The video received garnered many likes from fans and some wrote, “Salman’s Bhai apse achha hosting koi nhi kr sakta,” read a comment. “King of Bollywood Salman Bhai,” wrote another user.

IIFA 2022 is being held at Yas Island from June 2 to June 4. It will be hosted by Salman Khan, Maniesh Paul and Riteish Deshmukh. Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Kartik Aaryan, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Divya Khosla Kumar, and Nora Fatehi are also expected to perform.
