Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff

Newbie actor Tiger Shroff who has already become the hearthrob of many, is all set for his debut film that is to hit theatres on 23rd May. But this  newbie will be facing the GOD of movies Rajinikanth. As Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti will be ‘clashing’ with Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiiyaan which  also features his father. Well truly an acid test for a newcomer to be faced by two veteran actors on his debut itself.

As per sources, the Shroff family is taking it easy Jackie Shroff said, “Well, this is not a clash per se, it is a matter of celebration. It is a nice feeling to be coming along with your son’s debut. I will remember this day forever. So many people are coming and telling me that they want to make the weekend special by watching both films. That’s a great high for us father and son.”

Tiger Shroff is quite a fan of his father; he added that,”Well, my father would always be this ‘Jackie dada’ for the audience. As for comparison, I know it would be there, regardless of whether our films come on the same or a different date. It is all about thinking how you are different and what you have to offer to the crowd.

He was the first anti-hero in the industry and came with a dusky macho look when other newcomers were carrying a chikna look. He played to his personality.”

He confessed that he is aware  Rajinikanth would be a major draw at the box office. “He is THE Rajinikanth after all. There can’t be any question of taking him on. I am sure people will watch my film and I too shall be catching his film in theaters. Moreover, my father stars in there. It is going to be a fun weekend.”

So lets wait and watch if Tiger’s Roar will be heard above Rajini Sir’s ‘Kochadaiiyaan’.
