Jacqueline Fernandez’s to do item song in Salman Khan’s ‘Hero’

Salman Khan is all set o debut as a producer with a remake of 1983 movie ‘Hero’. The Khan has sung a song too for the film. Now the Dabangg Khan has signed up none other than Jacqueline Fernandez, his ‘Kick’ co star for an Item number in ‘Hero’. The ‘Roy’ actress was earlier approached for the dance number, but things did not gel due to lack of dates. Jacqueline Fernandez somehow worked out her dates and finally accepted the offer.

Source says, “They had a discussion about the song, but things came to a head as Jacqueline has committed her dates to another project. Later however she worked out her dates and informed Salman that she will do it. She is doing an item number for Salman Khan as she thinks he is her mentor and has given her second chance in the industry through the movie Kick.”

‘Hero’ is an upcoming action film directed by Nikhil Advani and co-written with Umesh Bist starring Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty. ‘Hero’ is scheduled to release on July 3, 2015.
