Janhvi Kapoor made her acting debut with Dhadak. Post her debut film, Janhvi went on to star in films like Good Luck Jerry, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, and Roohi. The actress is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, Mili. The trailer which was released a few days ago received a good response from her fans. For the uninitiated, Mili is a remake of the Malayalam film Helen.

During a recent promotional event of her upcoming film, Janhvi was asked if she wishes to be a part of her late mother Sridevi’s films and she said, “I think kisko bhi unki koi bhi film ko remake nahi karna chahiye kyunki koi bhi unki tarah nahi kar payenge (I think nobody should remake any of her films because nobody will be able to pull off the films like her).”

The actress was also asked if she would be interested in starring in a biopic based on her late mother. Janhvi said that she wouldn’t be a part of the biopic. “I wouldn’t be,” she said. She added, “Sir woh bhi bahut lamba answer hai aur mujhe bhook lagi hai, aur mujhe rona nahi hai stage pe. Acha din hai toh avoid karte hai (Sir there’s a big answer for this and I am hungry right now, and I don’t want to cry on stage. The day is good so let’s avoid it)”

Sridevi passed away in 2018. Janhvi shared a great bond with her late mother.

Talking about Mili, it also stars Sunny Kaushal, Manoj Pahwa, and Vikram Kochhar among others. It is slated to release on 4th November, 2022. Apart from this, Janhvi also has Bawaal. The actress will be sharing screen with Varun Dhawan.
