Jasmine Sandlas Says Dhurandhar 2 Song Jaiye Sajana Was Composed On Music Album Launch Day

In an interview with Humans of Bombay, Jasmine Sandlas revealed that one song from the Dhurandhar 2 album was composed and finished on the very day of the music launch — that song is Jaiye Sajana. The album release for Dhurandhar 2 took place on March 17, just a day before the film’s premiere.

During their conversation, Jasmine shared, “[Jaiye Sajana] was created on the day of the music album launch. I was in the studio at 4 a.m. with Shashwat, writing and recording the song as the album was being released! The day we performed the songs was the day it was actually recorded.”

She added, “Some parts of the song were written three months earlier and recorded then, but it was finalised at the last minute, right when the entire album was ready. It’s a beautiful song that captures feelings of loneliness and betrayal perfectly. Neither the team nor I could have imagined how much it would resonate — now, all Indians around the world are talking about that song.”

Jasmine Expresses Admiration For Sarinder Sartaaj

Jasmine also expressed admiration for Satinder Sartaaj’s soulful rendition of the track’s hook. She previously shared on Instagram, “It’s a dream come true to work with the one and only @satindersartaaj. I’m such a big fan and truly adore his music. My mom is so happy, and that’s my biggest victory. @shashwatology, I love you, bro. You pushed me to my limits to write these songs. The sleepless nights in the studio were totally worth it. You’re a mad genius, and your obsession with creating beautiful music is unreal. You’ve changed my life. Now, my concerts feel like festivals.”
