Kabir Khan talks about actor Ranveer Singh

Ranveer Singh is on a roll. Recently, the trailer of the actor’s much-anticipated magnum opus film ‘Padmavati’ was released and it took the internet by storm. Even after the release of this film, there are many interesting projects lined up. Certainly, among them one is a real story of the 1983 Indian cricket team’s World Cup victory for which the actor is teaming up with filmmaker Kabir Khan and the project is titled ‘83. Many would be aware by now that Ranveer will be seen playing the role of captain Kapil Dev. Recently, director Kabir Khan, who will be teaming up with Ranveer for the first time for a film talked about the actor and the project which is very special to him.

The director had recently made his way to the grand finale of Miss Diva, as a judge, where he was asked as to how was he feeling, directing this project. To which, he replied saying, “‘83 is a very special project to me. I feel it’s more than a film. Further, the director was all praises for Ranveer Singh and the trailer of his upcoming film ‘Padmavati’. He said, “I really liked the trailer of the film and look of Ranveer. I am really fond of him and I am doing my next film with him. ‘Padmavati’ trailer is absolutely magnificent. The story of the film is looking really interesting and setting is also very interesting.” [sic]

Talking about the film ‘Padmavati’, it also stars Shahid Kapoor and Deepika Padukone playing the lead roles. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is slated to release on December 1.
