The Last Hurrah: Kajol is super excited as she announces her next directed by Revathy

After giving an applaud worthy performance in Tribhanga, Kajol is all set to star in her next which is titled The Last Hurrah. The movie will be directed by the ace filmmaker Revathy. This will be quite the collaboration as two extraordinarily talented women will be coming together. As per reports, The Last Hurrah will be based on a true story and real characters which will tell the life of a mother, Sujata, who faces life head-on with a smile. The Revathy directorial is yet in the pre-production stage.

Talking about her collaboration with Revathy, Kajol said in a statement, “When I heard the story of The Last Hurrah, I could instantly connect with Sujata and I thought her journey was incredibly inspiring. I think it’s a beautiful journey and it deserves to be shared with everyone. And to have Revathy direct me for this story gives me more strength to play Sujata and showcase her strengths.”

Kajol took to her Instagram account and sharing a picture with Revathy, she wrote in the caption, “So happy to announce my next film with the super awesome Revathi directing me.. called ‘The Last Hurrah’. A heartwarming story that made me instantly say YES! Can I hear a “Yipppeee” please?(sic)”

The Last Hurrah will be produced by Suuraj Sinngh and Shraddha Agrawal under the banner Blive Productions and Take 23 Studios Production.
