‘Panga’ Trailer: Kangana Ranaut proves how motherhood should never stop one from fulfilling their dreams

Trust filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari to push the envelope with each of her films and she will never disappoint you. After ‘Nil Battey Sannata’ and ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’, Ashwiny is here with yet another slice-of-life sports film. Starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead, ‘Panga’ revolves around the life of a jovial Kabbadi player, who wants to make a comeback at an age when other players think of retiring.

The film deals with the message of how sometimes in order to fulfil your dreams you have to take ‘Panga'(the term that usually has a negative connotation is presented here in a positive way). Kangana is playing Jaya Nigam who used to play for Railways. After getting married, having a kid and being busy with her domestic duties, Jaya wishes to fulfil her desires. All she wants is to play for India. How her family helps her fulfil this dream forms the plot of the film.

Kangana and Richa’s camaraderie stands out in the trailer. And as usual Neena Gupta is a treat to watch. Jassie Gill is a cutie pie and you will instantly love him.

‘Panga’ is a sports film that revolves around the not-so-glamorous game of Kabaddi. I have great expectations from this film because it’s not every day when two of the most talented actress and director collaborate on a project like this.

‘Panga’ is all set to hit the marquee on January 24.
