Kangana Ranaut takes pride in herself for starting a discussion around nepotism prevalent in the film industry. In a twist of fate, an old video of the ‘Panga’ actress surfaced recently in which she was seen justifying the privilege enjoyed by the star kids. She in fact compared it with the ‘quota system’ in the educational field.

The ‘Queen’ actress has finally responded to the old video shared by Taapsee Pannu in which she was seen having an altogether different view on nepotism.

Reacting on the old video shared by Taapsee, Kangana told IANS, “They are going (sharing videos that are from) 12 years ago. I started 14 years ago, so clearly, I had a very slow launch. After my launch, I was jobless for a significant time.”

Further commenting on how the movie-mafia is only sending ‘outsiders’ like Taapsee and Swara to respond on her views but not letting any A-lister comment anything on it, Kangana said, “But you notice here also that they are not letting A-listers get affected. The A-listers that the Nepo Mafia promotes are tucked away safely. They are only sending these people who have only and only to lose — these outsiders who are struggling, who are star-struck by the glamour and the power of the movie mafia.”

Post her explosive interview to Republic TV in which she reignited the nepotism debate and called her fellow actresses as ‘B-grade’ actresses, several videos have surfaced on social media where we can see Kangana having polar opposite views about nepotism and the way film industry functions.
