After Tanushree Dutta‘s brave move of coming forward and sharing the ordeal she went through in the last 10 years due to an incident with actor Nana Patekar, the industry is coming forward in her support which is heartening to see.

The #MeToo movement in Hollywood led to a revolution where women no longer kept quiet about the mental and sexual harassment because of the fear of losing their livelihood. How we wish that Tanushree’s case too set a precedent in Bollywood and more women come out in support as well as to raise their voice and bring an end to this culture of harassment.

After several B-town celebs came forward to support Tanushree, actress Kangana Ranaut too has shared her views on the ongoing controversy. The ‘Manikarnika’ actress told Pinkvilla, “I am not here to pass judgement. That’s neither my place nor my intention. I appreciate her courage to speak about alleged harassment that has been caused to her. It’s her and the accused’s fundamental right to speak about their experience of the same situation.”

Kangana further criticised the way Indian men are raised by their parents.“Raja beta needs to be told the meaning of ‘NO’ as well. It’s in the interest of society that the Raja betas are told what their parents fail to tell them. They must know that the fundamental human rights are the same for men and women,” she added further.

Kangana stressed on the importance of women coming forward and sharing their stories to bring a sense of shame and fear in men. Well, we couldn’t agree more with Kangana. Do you guys agree with her views?
