After an adventurous birthday week with her husband Vicky Kaushal and friends in the Maldives, actor Katrina Kaif is back to work and it looks like she is busy shooting for his upcoming movie, Merry Christmas. Katrina Kaif took to her Instagram account and dropped some behind-the-scenes photos from the sets of Merry Christmas where she is seen engrossed in a deep conversation with director Sriram Raghavan and her co-star Vijay Sethupathi.

This is the first time where she is teaming up with the Andhadhun director and the South superstar Vijay who is gearing up for his venture in the Bollywood industry. Vijay who predominantly works in South Indian language movies is set to make his debut in Bollywood. Vijay Sethupathi has also been seen in Raj and DK’s web show along with Shahid Kapoor and the second movie is said to be Merry Christmas.

Meanwhile, as the Tiger 3 actor shared pictures from the sets, Katrina captioned them with, “Work in progress #rehearsals #merrychristmas #sriramraghavan.” Fans have expressed their excitement about the film. A fan wrote, “Wowowowowowww so excited” while another one mentioned, “Can’t wait to watch this.”

Right after her wedding to Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif announced her new venture with Sriram Raghavan. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “New Beginnings. BACK ON SET with director #sriramraghavan for Merry Christmas! I’ve always wanted to work with Sriram Sir, He is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it’s an honor to be directed by him. . Super excited to be teaming up with @actorvijaysethupathi for this one produced by @rameshtaurani & @sanjayroutraymatchbox

Producer Ramesh Taurani confirmed that the shoot is currently underway. The entire movie will be shot in Mumbai, on sets as well as at live locations.
