Kriti Sanon

The perception that girls can’t drive a car as good as the guys still continues to hold prominence. However, that doesn’t deter our ladies from vrooming around in their fancy cars. Talking of Bollywood, then our actresses have been giving the actors a run for their money in terms of their driving and riding skills. However, every person learns it the hard way and our actresses too suffered fair share of hurdles before turning into a really good driver.

So recently, at the launch of luxury car Audi A5, Kriti spoke about her very first experience behind the wheel. Recalling her first  memory of driving a car, she said, “It was college first year. I had got my learner’s license and that was the first day I was driving a car. It was exciting for me because before that I only tried my hand at cars of the motor school during my driving classes. My dad was sitting next to me and he was anxious from the beginning. I had to take a U-turn and because of the steering issue, my dad panicked and I panicked even more, and I banged the car into the divider. I think girls shouldn’t take their dads on their first ever drive. I want to mention that post that accident, I never met with any accident, touchwood.” (Also Read: Do you know how much Kriti Sanon scored in college?)

She further added, “I needed a driver and a new car because after ‘Heropanti’, I started attending red carpet events and award functions where I was wearing designer clothes, and driving the car wearing those dresses, or stepping out of the car at the red carpets, appeared difficult.” Kriti currently owns an Audi Q7, but she says that she rarely gets to drive it as she has her own driver now.
