Krrish 4: Hrithik Roshan to explore time travel; Jadoo to make a comeback?

Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish series is one of the most loved superhero movies in the nation. It is India’s maiden superhero franchise and it has quite an army of fanbase. Hrithik is all set to make a comeback in the Krrish universe with the fourth instalment. There were reports last year that the makers are contemplating getting Jadoo from Koi Mil Gaya back to the Krrish series and Hrithik as well was seen indirectly confirming the news as he had said, “The world can do with some Jaadu now.”

On June 23, as Krrish clocked 15 years, Hrithik had announced Krrish 4 in his Instagram post that read, “The past is done. Let’s see what the future brings. #15YearsOfKrrish #Krrish4.” Now latest reports state that the movie is said to explore time travel and Jadoo will indeed make a comeback.

A report by Pinkvilla quoted a source saying, “The makers are trying to build the universe in a way that the world of Koi Mil Gaya, and Krrish come together. While the idea of bringing Jadoo back is in place, the makers have zeroed in on the concept of time travel for this one. Krrish as a franchise has a strong sci-fi backdrop and there has been a gradual significance of time through all the films. In Koi Mil Gaya, Rohit Mehra uses his father’s equipment to communicate with Jadoo, whereas in Krrish, Rohit himself develops a Time Travel Machine, the object of interest. Time travel will be key to the story of Krrish 4.”

Krrish 4 is currently in the development stage as the source said that Rakesh Roshan and Hrithik, along with their team of writers, have been working on the script for a couple of years and a lot of it is already locked, “The duo has also been in conversations with visual effect experts from the West. Krrish is a dear franchise for the Roshan’s and they are keen to deliver a full proof film, close to the reality yet larger than life.”

Looks like, with Jadoo’s return and time travel, Krrish 4 is going to be quite an interesting ride.
