The Tanushree Dutta and Nana Patekar controversy seems like it’s not going to stop anytime soon. After returning to India after almost a decade, Tanushree opened up on an old case when she was sexually harassed by Nana Patekar on the sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleasss’. Just today, we came through the news of Tanushree lodging a complaint with the Maharashtra State Commission for Women.

Tanushree’s lawyer, Nitin Satpute, told ANI, “The complaint has been lodged with the Maharashtra State Commission for Women. Tomorrow, we are going to move the complaint to the District Officer as per the Sexual Harassment Act Section 9. Tanushree Dutta’s statement has not yet been recorded so tomorrow she will come for the same along with the witnesses. After recording the statement, we will take the next step.”

As per the fresh development reported by CNN News 18, the Women Commission is likely to send notice to Nana Patekar by today evening. Yesterday, Nana addressed the media and denied all the allegations. He said, “I have been advised by my lawyer not to talk to the media. So kindly don’t ask me anything.”

When asked about the incident that happened 10 years back, the actor said, “I already gave my statement 10 years ago. Whatever the truth was 10 years ago, the same truth will remain 10 years later.”

The controversy is gaining momentum day after day. Tanushree has given lots of interviews to leading media houses revealing the incidents that happened with her. We want Nana to face the media and open up on the ordeal. All we want is that everything should be cleared and resolved soon.
