Mahesh Bhupati shares the sweetest birthday wish for wife Lara Dutta; recalls their first meeting

Lara Dutta is celebrating her 43rd birthday today. The former beauty queen and actress received the sweetest birthday wish from husband Mahesh Bhupati. The former tennis player shared a lovely ‘then and now’ picture of them and recalled his first meeting with the Partner actress.

Wishing his gorgeous wife on her special day, Mahesh wrote, “Happy Birthday @larabhupathi .. Throwback to the first time we met 12 years ago when I thought “ chance pe dance “ to what you have built for us today ?.. #blessed  #supermom #yummymummy #ceo #juststarting #LFG ???(sic).”

Commenting on Mahesh’s post, actress Suchitra Pillai wrote, “My 2 adorable monkeys.” And Esha Gupta and others dropped a heart emoji for the birthday girl.

Revealing about her birthday plans, Lara told Hindustan Times, “I am not a huge big party kind of person. So, it doesn’t really make much of a difference to me. I’m still spending my birthday with exactly the same people I would be spending my birthday if we weren’t in a pandemic. Life is very fragile and short. You don’t know what tomorrow brings. I think it’s important to celebrate now. My friends, who know me well, know that for Lara, her birthday is not a day, week, but a birthday month.”

On the work front, Lara will be next seen in Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom. She was last seen in the web series Hundred.
