Mahima Chaudhry reveals her daughter played a major role in her cancer recovery, here’s how

In a video shared by Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The actress is now cancer free. In a recent interview, Mahima has now revealed that her daughter Ariana was her biggest pillar of support during the time. She added that her daughter didn’t go to school during her cancer recovery.

Speaking with ETimes, Mahima said, “She categorically told me that she’ll stay at home because she didn’t want to risk the COVID virus from coming home as I was in my recovery stage.”

She further added, “So, she didn’t go to school when it reopened after the COVID phase. She took her classes online, they have her that provision.”

For the uninitiated, Anupam Kher shared a video on Thursday to reveal about Mahima’s cancer diagnosis. He captioned it, “Story of @mahimachaudhry1’s courage and Cancer: I called #MahimaChaudhry a month back from US to play a very important role in my 525^th film #TheSignature. Our conversation turned to her discovering that she has #BreastCancer. What followed is in this candid conversation between us. Her attitude will give hope to so many women all over the world. She wanted me to be part of her disclosing about it.”

The veteran actor added, “She calls me an eternal optimist but dearest Mahima! “You are my HERO!” Send her your love, warmnth, wishes, prayers and blessings. She is BACK on sets where she belongs. Mahima is currently working on the film, The Signature. It is directed by Gajendra Ahir and also has Anumpam Kher as one of the leads.
