Another firing incident has taken place at Kapil Sharma’s cafe, Kap’s Cafe, located in Surrey, Canada. This marks the third such attack in recent months. A video of the latest shooting, showing the cafe’s exterior shortly after gunshots were fired, is now circulating online.
Kapil Sharma’s Kap’Cafe Attacked Again In Canada
According to the Surrey Police Service (SPS), the incident occurred on October 16 at around 3:43 am in the 8400 block of 120 Street. When officers arrived, they found the café had been hit by multiple bullets. Thankfully, staff members who were present at the time were unharmed.
Police confirmed that their Frontline Investigative Support Team (FLIST) and the Integrated Forensic Identification Service (IFIS) are now investigating the scene.
Gangsters Goldy Dhillon and Kulvir Sidhu (also known as Nepali), associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, claimed responsibility for the shooting on social media. Authorities have launched a full investigation, as this is the latest in a troubling pattern of attacks on Sharma’s property.
Earlier, on August 7, the café was targeted with over 25 rounds of gunfire. Before that, on July 10, a similar shooting took place. The first attack was believed to be linked to the Laddi gang, which allegedly has ties to the banned Khalistani group Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).
Kap’s Café is co-owned by Kapil Sharma and his wife, Ginni Chatrath. Due to repeated threats and attacks, local police are now considering providing security to the comedian, especially in light of threats made against his properties in India as well.
These incidents have raised concerns among locals and fans, as violence related to gang activity appears to be increasing in the area.
