Today is International Mother’s Day 2024 and everyone is celebrating their mothers and motherhood. Even Bollywood celebs are celebrating their mothers as they not only wished them but also penned a heartfelt note about them on Mother’s Day. Stars like Sanjay Dutt, Rakul Preet Singh, Soha Ali Khan, Arbaaz Khan and others have wished their mothers and written beautiful letters for the special ones.

Sanjay Dutt
The Agneepath actor shared a throwback picture of his late mother Nargis on Instagram while writing an emotional note. It read, “Wishing a Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who taught me how to love unconditionally and live with kindness. Your spirit lives on in the love I carry in my heart, Mom. Thank you for everything, love you.“
Rakul Preet Singh
Since Rakul is now married, she dedicated her Mother’s Day post to both her mother and mother-in-law. Calling them rockstars, she expressed how lucky she is to have both of them.
She wrote, “Hey Mom and Mom-in-law! I just wanted to take a moment to let you both know how incredibly grateful I am to have you in my life. Seriously, you both have been absolute rockstars in my journey. Mumma, you’ve been there for me, guiding me, and supporting me through thick and thin. I honestly don’t know how I’d get through each day without you by my side. Your love and support mean the world to me. And Mom-in-law, I feel so lucky to have you as a part of my life. From day one, you’ve made me feel like family and welcomed me with open arms. Your strength and determination inspire me every single day. I am truly blessed to have two amazing moms in my life. Happy Mother’s Day to you both and all supermoms out there.”
Tara Sutaria
The Apurva actor recreated one of her mother’s looks to wish her on Mother’s Day and it looks uncanny. Sharing the pictures, Tara wrote, “Recreated a photograph of my mum from the 70’s for Mother’s Day! ( My earring is handmade by me to recreate the same look as the original. A work of art lol ) @tinasutaria Happy Mother’s Day our Teen Queen!!!“
Anand Ahuja
Sonam’s husband shared some adorable photos on Instagram on Mother’s Day, talking about what their son has taught them in life. He captioned, “@sonamkapoor Mama Day x 2 … “While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about.” #EverydayPhenomenal #VayusParents.“

Soha Ali Khan too shared adorable pictures with her daughter Inaaya and mother Sharmila Tagore to celebrate Mother’s Day.

Rochelle Rao
The Bigg Boss 9 fame who became a mother in October 2023 shared her feelings about becoming a mother. She shared some moments from her maternity shoot to posing with her daughter. Rochelle wrote, “I know every mother feels this, but I believe I’m the happiest mother in the world because I have the best baby in the world! I never never could have dreamed how perfect she would be I love you more than anyone or thing in this world baby girl & I will be with you forever. @keithsequeira thank you for helping & supporting me to be the best mom I can be, this journey is amazing with you beside me!“
Mahhi Vij
Mahhi has fostered a boy, Rajveer, and a girl, Khushi and had her first biological child, a daughter named Tara in 2019. To celebrate Mother’s Day, Mahhi penned a beautiful note to Tara, recalling the time when she was born. She shared an unseen picture from the hospital when Tara was in NICU after the birth.
She wrote, “Today on Mother’s Day, and I look back at the first memory of the first time I held you. The day I felt like a woman, a mother for the first time. You are a blessed child my baby spreading love everywhere and healing as you go along, healing me in a way I can’t explain in words. You are magic. During your NICU days I knew my daughter is brave and special and today as I recall that day, you had tubes all over you and as a tear rolled down my eyes, I stopped myself from crying. I told myself I’m blessed to have you and I shall celebrate this blessing everyday“
