Mrunal Thakur Was Unaware Of Being Paired Opposite A Senior Actor
In an interview with Prema, she said, “I didn’t know, like, a very senior actor is going to play my husband. Because that just changes my… this is not what I expected from the movie. So, there I failed because there was a little bit of trust that was shaken. But you know what, I don’t have regrets.”
Mrunal Says Roshni Walia’s Scenes Were Edited
Mrunal Thakur also addressed the editing of important scenes with Roshni Walia, who played Saba in Son Of Sardaar 2. She said, “I did not know two important scenes of mine would be edited on the table. Like, there’s this beautiful scene with me and Roshni. She’s actually my sister’s child, and my sister dies in the movie—it’s just a narrative. And I give up my personal life for her betterment. She says, ‘It’s better I don’t have a mother, I have you. And I pray that every girl gets a mother like you, even if you’ve not given birth to me.’ But the way you’ve taken care…that narrative was missing.”
