‘Paltan’ Teaser: J P Dutta is here with the third instalment of his war trilogy

After making ‘Border’ and ‘LOC Kargil’, J. P. Dutta is all set to complete India’s biggest war Trilogy with the upcoming war drama ‘Paltan‘. The makers have released a new teaser of the film on their social media handles today.

The teaser talks about the J P Dutta’s hit films like 1997’s ‘Border’ and 2003’s ‘LOC Kargil’ and how the filmmaker is back with the bang.

The film has an ensemble cast of Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane and Siddhant Kapoor amongst others and will hit theaters on 7th September.

‘Patlan’ is based on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967 which took place along the Sikkim border. It also showcases an untold story of the Indian forces facing off in an intense battle to ward off a Chinese infiltration.

According to reports, Abhishek Bachchan’s much-awaited film after ‘Housefull 3’, titled ‘Manmarziyaan’ is all set to lock horns with J P Dutta’s ‘Paltan’. Abhishek’s film also stars Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles. For the uninitiated, Abhishek Bachchan made his Bollywood debut with J P Dutta’s ‘Refugee’ in 2000, so it will be a clash between the mentor and student this time.
