Prashant Narayanan PM Modi Biopic Antagonist

After introducing the majority of the cast for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s biopic, the makers have finally released the name of its antagonist. According to reports, Prashant Narayanan, who has earlier worked in movies such as ‘Murder 2’, ‘Mr Singh Mrs Mehta’, ‘Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part 2’ and others, has been roped in to essay the fictional character of country’s biggest business tycoon Aditya Reddy, IANS reported.

Apart from Prashant Narayanan, the filmmakers have earlier cast Vivek Oberoi, Darshan Kumaar, Boman Irani and Zarina Wahab. The character of the Indian prime minister will be portrayed by Vivek Oberoi.

Confirming the news, a source close to the film was quoted as saying, “Prashant will be the antagonist. His role is a fictional character of the biggest business tycoon of the country called Aditya Reddy. He has started shooting for the film in Ahmedabad.”

Sharing his excitement after being a part of Modi’s biopic, Prashant told News 18, “I am grateful to Mukesh Chabbra and Sandip SSingh for giving me this role and believing in me. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity, I am excited. This set is like a big family to me.”

The first poster of the film was released ahead of this Republic Day and days after the release of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s biopic titled ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’.

Directed by Omung Kumar and produced by Suresh Oberoi and Sandeep Ssingh, the biopic is slated to release next year.
