Ranveer Singh Threat Case: Actor’s Voice Message Sender Remains Unidentified Due To Use Of VPN- Report

Following reports that Ranveer Singh received threatening voice messages on WhatsApp, new information suggests that the sender remains untraceable due to the use of a VPN. The messages were sent through a VPN number, which has made it difficult for authorities to track the IP address or locate the sender. This development has intensified concerns over celebrity safety, especially in light of recent security incidents involving Bollywood personalities.

A News18 report cites a source who revealed that the threatening voice note, received by Ranveer Singh, was transmitted via a VPN, thereby masking the sender’s location. The message allegedly demanded a hefty sum of money and claimed links to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Upon receiving the threat, Ranveer Singh promptly notified the Mumbai Police. In response, authorities increased security measures outside his residence and have launched a detailed investigation to identify and apprehend the individual responsible for the voice message.

Rohit Shetty’s Residence Attacked

This incident is part of a series of recent security scares involving Bollywood celebrities. Earlier this month, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for firing shots outside filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Reports state that around 12:45 am, at least five rounds were fired at the first floor of Shetty’s nine-storey building, with one bullet hitting the glass façade of a gym.

So far, five individuals have been arrested in connection with the attack that took place on February 8. The gang has previously claimed responsibility for attacks on Kapil Sharma’s café in Canada and has issued multiple threats against Salman Khan, highlighting a growing security threat to celebrities.
