Raveena Tandon slammed Nikhil Kumaraswamy, son of former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy for flouting lockdown rules and getting married amidst the Coronavirus scare. The actress lashed out at their ‘VIP entitlement’.

As per ANI report, Nikhil Kumaraswamy tied the knot with Revathi, the grand-niece of former Congress Minister for Housing M Krishnappa in Bengaluru. Now despite the nationwide lockdown imposed in the wake of Coronavirus outbreak, Nikhil, Revathi and their respective families completely unheeded the warnings and went ahead with their wedding ceremony.

Obviously their decision raised several eyebrows and one of them was Raveena Tandon who slammed the couple and their families. Retweeting the news, the actress wrote, “Ok. Obviously poor souls are not aware that many in the country not being able to reach their families and are going hungry, while the rest are trying to help others override this crisis. Wonder what was served in the buffet(sic).”

As evident by the above pics, the marriage was attended by a large group of people and none of them can be seen wearing a mask for maintaining social distancing. As per ANI report more than 100 people attended the wedding ceremonies.

Even netizens slammed Nikhil and Revathi for flouting rules. One of the users wrote, “his grandfather is a x prime minister nd his father is 2 tyms chief minister how come they more irresponsible its bad(sic). Whereas another user commented, “Unbelievable. I can spot over 20 people in image itself. And he is the son of Karnataka’s former chief minister ?? This is how we are growing”
