Here is the reason why Aishwarya Rai Bachchan isn’t promoting ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’

The release of Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ is around the corner and no lead actors, apart from Ranbir Kpaoor, is seen starting with the promotions of the film yet.

The film has already been facing a lot of issues and while it was said that the cast is staying away from interacting with the media because of the whole Pakistani artiste ban controversy, it isn’t really true. Fawad is not in the country for obvious reasons, while Anushka can’t promote the movie currently, as she is busy shooting with Shah Rukh Khan for Imtiaz Ali’s ‘The Ring’. And if you think Aishwarya could have joined Ranbir, then let us tell you, that it is a strategic decision by the makers.

As a source reveals, “The strategy is that both the heroines will promote the film together. Because while Ash has a small role, Anushka is the leading lady and Ash promoting the film without her would send out wrong messages.”

The movie is set to release on October 28 and will be clashing at the box office with Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay.’
