Bollywood beauty, Richa Chadha is currently gearing up for the release of Kangana Ranaut starrer, sports drama, ‘Panga’. Amid the buzz of her upcoming film, she makes headlines for her kind gesture on the occasion of National Hug Day. The pretty actress joins the worldwide celebrations of Hud Day and she gives free hugs to people.

The pretty actress made a placard which read ‘Free Hugs’ and stood on the streets of Mumbai to give hugs to strangers. Fast emerging as an icon for the youth because of her unflinching honesty, Richa Chadha recently took to the streets for an adorable ‘social experiment’.
Despite being busy with the promotions of her upcoming film, ‘Panga’ and other pre-production work, she tried an interesting initiative on International Hug Day. She also took to her Instagram handle and posted a video where she can be seen interacting with kids. The video surely wins million hearts.

At a time when we’re seeing both the rise in extremism as well as raising awareness about social causes globally, the actress decided to go hang out at Carter Road, Bandra to holding a hand-painted ‘Free Hugs’ sign. She wore dark glasses as she didn’t want to be recognized but just wanted to give out hugs as a citizen and not a celebrity. Although a few fans eventually did recognize her, she gave out hugs to strangers and passers-by with ease.

Coming back to her upcoming movie, ‘Panga’, the film is being helmed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and the film also stars Jassi Gill and Neena Gupta in the key roles. The film is slated to hit the silver screens on January 24.
