RRR: Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, NTR Jr starrer to also release in foreign languages; stream on OTT platforms post theatrical release

SS Rajamouli’s RRR is hands down one of the most highly anticipated films of this year. Owing to the pandemic, the film’s release date has been pushed but the makers of RRR shared some major updates regarding its post-theatrical release. Starring Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan and Jr NTR, RRR also features Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role.

The pan India period drama action film is scheduled to release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. It will be now also releasing in several foreign languages like English, Portuguese, Korean, Turkish and Spanish. And streaming giant Netflix and Zee 5 have bagged the film’s digital streaming rights.

So post its theatrical release, which is scheduled for October 13 this year, RRR will stream on Netflix and Zee 5. Announcing their digital and satellite partners, Pen Studious (one of the distributors of RRR) shared the following post.

The SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus, RRR is a fictional take on the younger days of celebrated freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju. Ram Charan and Jr NTR will be essaying the lead roles.

Produced by DVV Danayya, RRR will be presented in Hindi by Pen Studios while Pen Marudhar will be distributors of the film across North India. By sharing this new update, the makers of RRR have left their fans all the more excited about its release.
