Reflecting on the impact of relentless media attention, he said, “I feel it takes away from stardom in a huge way because you keep seeing these guys every day and then it takes away from that magic of the screen.”

While acknowledging that paparazzi can bring celebrities closer to their fans, Saif admitted that he never felt the need for such constant visibility. “My life was fine without them,” he stated. The actor added that photographers and journalists serve different roles and should not be conflated.

The actor also spoke about an incident where photographers reportedly entered the premises of his residence. Addressing the episode, Saif remarked that the situation had gone too far and stressed the need for clear boundaries. He said the paparazzi had “crossed a line,” emphasising that “everyone needs to be in limits.”

Saif further clarified that while he respects journalism, paparazzi culture is an entirely separate phenomenon. According to him, maintaining privacy is crucial despite being a public figure. Mutual respect for personal space should be upheld.
