'Sairat's superhit Jodi Archi and Thosar to reunite in THIS film

After winning hearts in Marathi superhit movie ‘Sairat’, Archi and Parshya will be seen sharing the silver screen with Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan in Hindi film ‘Jhund’. The film ‘Sairat’ starred Rinku Rajgugru and Akash Thosar as Archi and Parshya, which turned out to be a blockbuster in 2016. Ever since the release of ‘Sairat’, fans have been waiting to see them making their comeback and director Nagraj Manjule has just confirmed the same.

The director of ‘Sairat’, Nagraj Manjule is making his Hindi debut with ‘Jhund’ featuring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. According to reports, ‘Jhund’ is based on the life of Vijay Barse (founder of Slum Soccer). Amitabh Bachchan will be seen portraying the character of the professor who motivates street children and forms a football team. ‘Sairat’ fame actors Rinku and Akash are reported to have played the role of soccer players, who live in slums.

Notably, Big B has already started shooting for the movie in Nagpur. Last week, Amitabh shared a series of pictures from the shooting spot. While sharing the photos, Bachchan turned nostalgic about his struggle days, and also about his college and job hunting days.

He shared pictures of him travelling in a bullock cart and taking a nap on a khatiya (bed) in some village. Walking down the memory lane, the actor captioned the pictures with a heartfelt caption.

Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, Rinku and Akash, the makers have also roped in Chhaya Kadam (who played Suman akka in ‘Sairat’). She will play Amitabh’s on-screen wife in ‘Jhund’.
