Any festival becomes all the more special when we celebrate it with our entire family. But owing to the Coronavirus scare, this year everyone’s spirits were dampened. Veteran scriptwriter Salim Khan was unable to celebrate the occasion with his entire family since his superstar son Salman Khan is isolation himself in his Panvel farmhouse.

Salim shared how Eid was celebrated at his Bandra residence in the absence of his beloved son Salman.

Salim Khan in an interview with The Times of India revealed that this year there was no special celebration on Eid at his home. Speaking about being away from his son, Salim told the daily, “He has been spending a lot of time there(Panvel). I just spoke with him today on the phone and we exchanged wishes. We are always in touch with each other through our regular phone calls.”

The veteran scriptwriter also said that this year no special delicacies were made to mark the festival. Prior to the lockdown, Salman was at his farmhouse and ever since then, he has been self-isolating himself along with his few close friends there.

While Salman’s family didn’t celebrate Eid the way they used to, but the actor made sure to make the festival special for his fans by releasing his song ‘Bhai Bhai’. He even reached out to around 5000 families and distributed Eid food kit amongst them.
