Salman Khan in Bharat

Salman Khan recently attended the closing ceremony of IFFI, where he was accompanied by his ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ co-star Katrina Kaif. Many B-Town celebs were that in Goa for IFFI, and one of them was Salman’s ‘Tubelight’ co-star the cute-little Matin Rey Tangu.

In a funny banter on the stage of IFFI, Salman told Matin to say a dialogue from ‘Tubelight’ and the dialogue was ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. The actor kept on chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jai in his hoarse voice and event joked with Matin that in such a voice he is still louder than him. Well, we found a video of the same on a fan club of Salman on Instagram.

They surely look super cute together.

Well, Salman chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ reminds us that he will be seen in a movie titled ‘Bharat’. The film will be an Indian adaptation of 2014 Korean drama ‘Ode To My Father’, and will be produced by Salman’s brother-in-law, Atul Agnihotri. It will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar with whom the actor has worked previously in ‘Sultan’ and in the upcoming ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.

‘Bharat’ is a story of a man and his journey from 1947 to 2000. The movie is slated to release on Eid 2019 and the actress of the film is not yet finalised.

Talking about the movie, Atul Agnihotri had earlier stated, “That film is just the starting point for ours but since it was an inspiration, we wanted in all fairness to officially own it and acquired the remake rights before going ahead with ‘Bharat’.”

“It starts in 1947 and ends in 2000 and is the journey of a country and also a person, both of whom go by the name of Bharat,” he added. (Also Read: Salman Khan books Eid 2019 for a film titled ‘Bharat’)
