The outbreak of Coronavirus has taken a toll on everyone’s personal as well as professional life. However, right now, staying at home and maintaining social-distancing is the only option effective to curb the spread of this virus. Driving the same point home, veteran filmmaker and actor Mahesh Manjrekar made a thought-provoking short film ‘Vaastav 2’, which Salman Khan shared on his social media handles.

Mahesh had posted his ‘made-at-home’ short film on his Instagram handle alongside the caption, “The Harsh Reality We Can Overcome With a Little Discipline.”

In his short film, we see a father, who is unable to curb his need for alcohol and cigarettes. And despite the lockdown and his children’s protest, he ventures out of the house to buy alcohol. Later on, we come to know that he is no more and has passed on the virus to his family members as well!

The short and powerful film ends with the message –“In these difficult times, some pleasures in life can wait. Covid-19 is a reality, don’t open your doors to it. Stay home, stay safe.”

The ‘Bharat’ actor shared the film alongside the hashtag ‘India fights Corona’.

Well, this is really a very effective way to spread the message among the masses. Interestingly, Mahesh’s daughter Saiee Manjrekar not only features in ‘Vaastav 2’ but she has even edited it. Now that’s some hidden talent of our ‘Dabangg 3’ actress.
