Salman Khan shares a great camaraderie with director Kabir Khan. The two have worked together in ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and their third collaboration, ‘Tubelight’ is already under production. And now, if reports are to be believed, the hit jodi is all set to come together again for Atul and Alvira Agnihotri’s next home production.

A source confirms, “Salman has immense faith in Kabir as a filmmaker and after two blockbuster hits in ETT and BB, the comfort level has only grown stronger with Tubelight. And when Atul and Alvira were looking out for a director to helm their next project, Salman suggested Kabir’s name. He has become like a family member to the Khans. Another director Salman has worked with that often is Sooraj Barjatya, who gave Salman his first hit Maine Pyaar Kiya. They also worked together in Hum Aapke Hain… Koun, Hum Saath-Saath Hain and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.”

Earlier it was Rajkumar Santoshi who was said to direct Atul and Alvira’s next production, but that did not work out for some reason and Kabir was roped in. Kabir already has another movie in hand after ‘Tubelight’, which is based on the 1983 World Cup World Cup win. The same will go on the floors later this year. It is only after that, that Kabir will start with Salman’s next.
