Samantha Ruth Prabhu confirms Citadel India wrap-up, amidst sabbatical reports

Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu made headlines as she is coming up with Citadel India, which marks a spin-off on Priyanka Chopra’s Citadel. Samantha in Citadel India will be seen alongside Bawaal actor Varun Dhawan. This also marks Samantha’s first project with Varun. This project stands directed by Raj & DK who have also delivered the famous show The Family Man.

Now, the actress took to her Instagram handle and uploaded a story confirming the wrap for Citadel India. Samantha shared a selfie as she posted the news of wrapping Citadel India shoot. She called this day a special day. The actress flaunted her precious smile and donned stylish sunglasses. In the story, the actress wrote, “13th of July (white heart emoji), will always be a special special day….and it’s a wrap on Citadel India.”

Speaking of the actress, she is also coming up with her rom-com film titled Khushi alongside Vijay Deverakonda. This is the second time that the audience will witness Samantha alongside Arjun Reddy star Vijay. The duo were previously seen together in their film titled Mahanati. A fresh new song Aradhya from Samantha and Vijay’s upcoming film Khushi was released and fans can’t stop gushing over their chemistry.

Previous year, the actress was diagnosed with Myositis. Reportedly, she is choosing to take a year long sabbatical and does not plan on signing any films for the same, whether Bollywood or films in other language. Samantha plans to take a break and focus on her health and treatment. Nevertheless, she never fails in keeping her fans impressed with her work commitments and also delivering quality performance on the silver screen.
