It’s OFFICIAL! Samantha Ruth Prabhu joins Varun Dhawan in Citadel universe, latter welcomes her

Samantha Ruth Prabhu made an announcement as she joined the Russo Brothers’ Citadel universe co-starring Varun Dhawan. She also received a warm welcome from her co-star on Instagram. Samantha took to her Instagram and shared a classy photo of her with the announcement. Her announcement comes over a month after Varun Dhawan in Citadel was introduced.

Taking to her Instagram, Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared a photo of her wearing a brown leather jacket, black jeans and fancy shades, announcing her being a part of Citadel. She shared the photo and said that she has kick-started shooting for the Indian installment of the web series. The actress said that the ‘mission is on fire’.

In the announcement, the Citadel actress said, “the mission is on (fire emoji) we have started rolling for the Indian installment of Citadel.“

After Samantha made the announcement, many celebrities extended warm wishes to the actress and wished her luck. Mrunal Thakur reacted to the post and said, “Wow.” The actor’s fans were overjoyed with the news. One fan took to the comments section and said, “It’s all about how strong you come back and there she’s.” Another fan commented, “Good to see you back doing what you do best, Sam! Best wishes for your health. You’re really a fighter. Way to go !” “Queen is Back,” a third fan of Samantha’s said.

Meanwhile, Citadel India will be helmed by Raj and DK. The web series is the Indian installment of the web series created by Russo Brothers. Citadel USA features Priyanka Chopra and Game of Thrones star Richard Madden in key roles.

The untitled Citadel series based out of India is being helmed by renowned creator duo Raj & DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK), who are the showrunners and directors. The local installment is written by Sita R. Menon, along with Raj & DK. The streaming service also confirmed that the production is currently underway in Mumbai. After this, the unit will head to North India and then onwards to international locales like Serbia and South Africa. The untitled Indian Original Citadel series will be available to Prime members in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.
