Bollywood actor and filmmaker passed away on March 9 to the shock of his fans and friends. The actor breathed his last in Delhi after suffering a major heart attack. He has left behind his wife and daughter who are yet to come to terms with his sudden demise.
Satish Kaushik ashes immersed
The actor’s nephew Nishant lit the pyre and performed the last rites of the filmmaker. In an interview with ETimes, he revealed that the veteran actor’s ashes have been immersed in Haridwar. He further opened up about the late actor’s wife Sashi Kaushik and daughter Vanshika. he said that they are in a bad shape.

He added, “They are trying to come to terms but no… they are in bad shape. Shashi aunty goes quiet and flashes of memories roll back. Vanshika might not say it in front of the guests but the moment she retires into a corner, she starts feeling uncomfortable. Life has come to a standstill for his family.”
On being asked about any unfulfilled wish of Satish Kaushik, he added, “Well, he wanted to take his production house to a higher level; he wanted it to become a big studio.”
Nishant said Satish Kaushik was a ‘terrific’ father and would play a lot of games with his daughter.
This video was taken hours before the actor’s untimely demise. Satish Kaushik passed away on Thursday, March 9 at the age of 66 due to a massive heart attack. His last rites were held on the same day in Mumbai and were attended by Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Shehnaaz Gill, Javed Akhtar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Zoya Akhtar, Sanjay Kapoor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, David Dhawan and many others.
On the work front, He recently shot for his part in Salman’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Besides this he will be seen in some more projects.
