Shah Rukh Khan says it’s a ‘dream come true’ to work with Rajkumar Hirani in Dunki

Shah Rukh Khan hosted an ‘AskSRK’ session on Twitter. The actor opened up about his experience of working with Rajkumar Hirani in Dunki.

After delivering a terrific performance in Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan will be next seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani have collaborated for the first time. Shah Rukh Khan’s fans are beyond excited. Recently, King Khan hosted an ‘AskSRK’ session on Twitter. The actor opened up about his experience of working with Rajkumar.

A fan asked him, “@iamsrk #AskSRK both our actor and director are coming together for Dunki, Could you tell us a little about that experience working with Raju sir?” King Khan replied saying, “Raju Sir is a dream come true to work with. Learnt so much from him and his film making. I am truly fortunate and he is too much fun.”

In April last year, Shah Rukh Khan announced Dunki with Rajkumar Hirani. The actor had shared an announcement video on Instagram. He revealed that the upcoming film will be released in December this year.

The actor had captioned the video saying, “Dear @hirani.rajkumar sir, Aap toh Mere Santa Claus nikle. Aap shuru karo main time pe pahunch jaunga… actually main toh set par hi rehne lagunga! Feeling humbled and excited to finally work with you. Bringing to you all #Dunki in cinemas on 22^nd December, 2023.”

The actor will be sharing screen space with Taapsee Pannu in the same. Last year, King Khan and Taapsee’s photos from the Dunki sets went viral on social media. Fans are excited to see Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee together.

Apart from this, Shah Rukh Khan also has Atlee’s Jawan in the pipeline. This is the first time Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee are collaborating and fans are excited for it. Jawan will be released in June this year. Shah Rukh Khan will also be making a cameo in Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3.
