Shahid Kapoor to romance Katrina Kaif in ‘Aankhen sequel

Shahid Kapoor will soon be seen romancing Katrina Kaif in ‘Aankhen 2’. Yes, rumours of a sequel to the very hit flick ‘Aankhen’ has been on since long now. Anees Bazmee had announced the sequel during the release of ‘Welcome Back’. Where the prequel had Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Sushmita Sen and Paresh Rawal in the lead role, the sequel is rumoured to star a fresh pairing of Katrina and Shahid.

Sources revealed that, “‘Aankhen 2’ will star Shahid Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Amitabh Bachchan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead. Official announcements will happen soon.”

Sources further added, “There will be official announcements made on this. But one thing is for sure that without Amitabh Bachchan ‘Aankhen 2’ cannot be made. There are 2-3 other actors also signed. Official announcements will be made soon about this may be in 15-20 days.”
