Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, debate on various issues that have been prevailing in the industry reignited. Nepotism, the struggle of survival in Bollywood, mental lynching, sidelining outsiders and all cropped up. Many have even thought that Sushant was forced to take this drastic step of suicide by several Bollywood big shots.

Celebs like Shekar Suman, Kangana Ranaut, have highlighted a few wrong practices in the industry since Sushant’s death. In fact, Shekhar has been demanding a CBI probe into Sushant’s death. Even Kangana has called out names of many bigwigs of the industry. She even shared her own ordeal.

When we asked Shekhar about Kangana’s fight for the cause, he said, “I think as long as the mission is the same and everybody is colluding to be there, the more the merrier. The more powerful and recognised people come into this, the movement becomes that much stronger. She is fearless and at least has the guts to go out and talk. So, that’s a wonderful thing that she has spoken her mind.”

Earlier, Shekhar took a backseat from the movement but he later decided to come back. On this, he said, “That decision was only for 30 seconds. I was feeling a little awkward that the family has not come forward and in the absence of any family support, I felt, then who are we fighting for. Then I realised Sushant was in a public domain and this is all about camaraderie, brotherhood and humanity we are fighting for. It really doesn’t matter whether his family comes forward or not. I thought it wouldn’t be fair to take the backseat and decided to go on as I was.”
