Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao team up for a horror-comedy

After the success of ‘Golmaal Again’ which was a horror-comedy, it looks like now many filmmakers are opting to make movies under this genre. Director duo Raj & DK made the first zombie film of Bollywood ‘Go Goa Gone’, and now, they are all set to explore horror-comedy genre.

The movie will star Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the lead roles, and the former took to Twitter to announce the movie. She tweeted, “Very excited to share that I’ll be working with 1 of my favourite actors @RajkummarRao & the hilarious director duo Raj & DK for a 1st of its kind horror-comedy!? @MaddockFilms.”

The movie will be produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films.

This will be for the first time when we will get to see Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor in a film together. Not just that, both the actors will be working with Raj & DK for the first time.

2016 has been a great year for Rajkummar Rao. The actor had six releases this year, and most of them turned out to be a hit at the box office. At the recent award function, the actor won two awards; Best Actor (Critics) for ‘Newton’ and Best Supporting Actor for ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’. He will next be seen in ‘Omerta’ and ‘Fanney Khan’. In the latter, he will be seen romancing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Talking about Shraddha Kapoor, this year has been very bumpy for the actress. While ‘Half Girlfriend’ turned out to be a hit at the box office, ‘OK Jaanu’ and ‘Haseena Parkar’ failed to make a mark. The actress’ next will be ‘Saaho’ in which she will be seen opposite Prabhas. She also has Saina Nehwal biopic in her kitty.
