Shershaah becomes ‘most watched movie’ on streaming platform; Sidharth Malhotra says ‘overwhelmed with love and appreciation’

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani starrer Shershaah is riding high on positive reviews from the critics and audience since it was released on Amazon Prime Video. The film is based on the story of the 1999 Kargil War Hero, Captain Vikram Batra, who laid his life for the country. The film Shershaah has become the ‘most-watched movie’ on the streaming platform. Sidharth took to his Instagram to celebrate the success of the film Shershaah. He said he is overwhelmed with love and appreciation. 

The Shershaah actor shared a picture, highlighting the success of the movie. Sidharth thanked his fans and followers for the love and making the movie the ‘most-watched film’ on Amazon Prime Video. Malhotra said he is ‘feeling blessed’.

Meanwhile, Shershaah also became the most popular Hindi film of all time on IMDB. The film received a rating of 8.9 out of 10 on the website. The Sidharth Malhotra film was streamed in 4100 plus Indian towns and cities.

Shershaah stars Sidharth Malhotra playing the role of Captain Vikram Batra and Kiara Advani is essaying the role of Dimple Cheema. The film is directed by Vishnuvardhan and written by Sandeep Shrivastava. Shershaah was released on August 12. It is produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment.

Work-wise, Sidharth Malhotra has films Mission Majnu and Thank God in his kitty.
