Simran writer Apurva Asrani diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, pens a long post to share his story

Writer Apurva Asrani was quite in news when he released the original script of Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Simran’. The man had a problem with the makers of this film crediting Kangana Ranaut as the writer over him. And then the verbal war began.

But Apurva currently is in the news because of his recent post on Facebook. Apurva has shared a long post revealing about his suffering. He has been diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, a viral infection that causes temporary facial paralysis. He has written about how he woke up one fine day and found his faced paralysed. He has posted a few pictures too.

“My face drooped to one side, one eye wide and unblinking, and my mouth twisted. I realised how blessed I had been to be able to smile, (it really can do wonders for you.),” one statement read.
